How to install a travel eSIM
Installing an eSIM takes a few minutes and needs no shop or plastic SIM. Do it at home, before you leave.
Check your phone
Your phone must support eSIM and be unlocked. Most iPhones since the XS (2018), Google Pixels since the 3, and recent Samsung Galaxy S and Z models do. Look for Add eSIM in your mobile settings.
Install with a link or a QR code
After you pay, the eSIM arrives by email and in My eSIMs. On the phone you travel with, tap the install link, or scan the QR code from another screen.
Do it on Wi-Fi, before you fly
Installing needs an internet connection. A plan's days start when it first connects in your destination, not when you install it.
Switch it on when you land
Choose the eSIM for mobile data and turn its data roaming on. If it does not connect within a few minutes, restart the phone.
